Why?

I always believed people should follow dreams. When I reflect on my journey on pursuing my dreams and trying to figure everything out on my own many years ago, I realize people get stuck and need support; people need to overcome the obstacles that are holding them back from even starting or finishing.

For me, coaching is a way to open doors so that my inspired community really get energized about their life passions and get the support they need to make it happen. It is such a joyous and exciting process to walk beside my students as they experience powerful transformations through coaching.

Training

Creating a goal-oriented space for individuals is something that I wanted to do when I started my career as an educator. It’s something that I want to continue to support as a passion project for my students who are looking for ways in which they can overcome obstacles, create success for themselves, and build a business from scratch.

I have a knack for finding the light at the end of the tunnel, and life’s work is focused on helping people discover their inner light, reflect on it, and learn to harness it in a meaningful way. I love to unconditionally empower people – whether it’s penning a book, speaking at a conference, or coaching students, training will always be who I am.

Publications

Writing my first book, “Shine your Lights – A Guide to Self-Confidence,” was an accomplished goal I had for years. I had to overcome many obstacles in life, and I knew if I got my thoughts out on paper, not only would it be therapeutic for myself, but it would benefit others as well.

The practice of penning down my journey of obstacles and life lessons learned inspired numerous souls. This has led me to start inspiring more people of all ages, and I am currently on the journey of penning my second book.

Philanthropy

Giving has always been a big part of my life. Early on as a child, I learned and understood the importance of giving. My journey to Africa is where I experienced giving on a higher level, not just financially, but giving my time, skills, and experiences unselfishly to communities of the underserved.

The love of humanity brings me joy when I and others can come together and focus on the care, concern, and people’s greater potential. I’m proud to have established my non-profit organization called The Strength Finder Foundation Inc., where I and others pour into young girls and women to help them gain skills to better be able to provide for themselves and their families.

Leisure Time

I find pleasure and peace in the little things of life. My peacetime is just so non-negotiable. It took me years to give myself this pleasure, and I won’t give it up for the world.

The sound of the ocean waves is just love. My dogs running around or snuggling with me under a blanket is a time I look forward to. My weekly self-care routines help me focus on my spiritual pursuit – be it soaking in a hot bath with my favorite essential oils with the perfect ambiance created with soft music and scented candles. My growth, reflection, and self-development during these Zen moments are imperishable.

The yoga sessions with my very influential yogi mom are exactly what my body needs. The adrenaline that rushes into my blood during gym hours or adventure trips makes me feel like a conqueror. I find comfort in listening to my favorite podcasts. Spending time with my like-minded girlfriends is refreshing. My excursions across the globe are indispensable enough to open my mind, inspire me, and enhance my creativity. Last but surely not least is self-development, my mind craves it, and I’m always willing to learn to keep becoming a better version of myself.
